Keeping CNU a  ”No”   Norovirus Zone

Gastroenteritis “aka” stomach flu, Norovirus occurs every year, beginning in the fall. This year the Norovirus is more prevalent because the medical community feels there is a new strain in the group of viruses that are classified under noroviruses. In addition, because this strain is also very resilient and can live on surfaces for up to 14 days, there have been epidemics across the country.

The Peninsula Health Department reports cases occuring in the Hampton Roads area. Please learn about this very virulent virus and how to prevent its spread:
